Legislation Regarding Housing

The National Housing Trust Fund Campaign - A National Housing Trust Fund would set aside profits from other federal housing programs to assist in the construction and rehabilitation of homes available primarily to families earning below 30 percent of the area median income. The Trust Fund would be modeled on the more than 350 successful state and local housing trust funds across the country. The goal is to build and rehabilitate 1.5 million affordable homes nationally in the next 10 years.
